I’m sorry I couldn’t find the difference I guess I need earphones to notice the difference
Assuming the AT2020 and AT2020+ use the same microphone cassette, The only differentiating factor would be the analog to digital (ADC) conversion process.
For an XLR the conversion has to be handled by a mixer or adapter that will connect to the computer. In the USB microphone the analog to digital is built into the device pre USB.
Depending on XLR-USB adapter, the XLR ADC may be better, the same, or not quite as good as the AT2020+.
For USB microphones, you get what you get and it is either acceptable or not.
Other factors are bitrate and bit resolution. Technically a 24-bit resolution will sound better than a 16-bit resolution ADC.
XLR is much better
for me both sound same 😑😑
